JAMIE SCHMIDT

AUTOMATICCA
Jamie Schmidt's Fall Winter 2026 Collection, titled "Automaticca" explores how gender dynamics over time have pushed predetermined notions into our everyday clothing. Garments inspired by what women have worn in contemporary history are constructed with Italian menswear technique's.
The Campaign, shot by Brooke Bean and Styled by Jane Swearingen, focuses on the difference between the masculine and the feminine. Empty fields and pastel abandoned homes are juxtaposed by planes found on train tracks. Inspired by the work of famed American Artists like photographer Dorothea Lange and filmmaker David Lynch, models pose in the early winter morning.
Automaticca mixes the surreal, the real, and the stereotype.
